Paris 2024, a horse races down the Seine and the revenge of the nerds is organized around a ping-pong table. Miki comes out of her room, puts her phone on a car and records a still shot in the back of a Buffalo Grill. The result is a modern pop hybrid that blends intimate, straightforward storytelling with bold, hard-hitting production. Miki sings, speaks and writes in the first person. With a freedom of tone, she tackles both the light and the serious with distance and self-deprecation.
