Top 5 beach spots in Seignosse

If you want to live cool like the locals, head for the beach huts in Seignosse!

We love meeting up here before work or after work to sip a coffee, a fresh fruit juice or catch up on old times over a slate of homemade tapas and watch the sun disappear very, very slowly below the horizon…

This is our moment, and it’ll be yours too! Forget the car and get there by bike, there’s a hut on each beach: at PENON, at AGRÉOU, at BOURDAINES, at CASERNES, at ESTAGNOTS, and there’s even one at the end of Lac d’HOSSEGOR, on the Seignosse side. 

Dress code: preferably barefoot, with a little wool – you never know, you might decide to spend the evening there… Each Cabane has its own culinary specialities: rather healthy, rather grilled fish, rather world cuisine or Landaise cuisine. At any time of day, you can stop off for a snack, ice cream or fresh juice.

Between May and the end of September – although these periods can vary depending on the season… – each hut is open from 10am to 10pm, every day, except in bad weather, in which case you’ll still have plenty of nice restaurants nearby!

And do you know what? At the end of the season, our magnificent beaches return to their natural state! The straw huts, all made of wood, are completely dismantled and reassembled the following year, much to our delight.
