How do I get to the Marché du Penon?

To avoid traffic jams, we recommend cycling to the Marché du Penon! The cycle paths will take you there easily, and you won’t have to stress about finding a parking space! The YEGO bus service or the regional bus route 517 (Tourist Office stop) will also take you there.

What is there to do around the Marché du Penon?

As well as strolling through the market stalls, you’ll find restaurants for lunch, the Tourist Office where you can pick up information, and Penon Beach is just a 5-minute walk away.

The Seignosse Market is a must-visit during the summer holidays. We love strolling around, chatting to the craftspeople and producers, sampling local specialities, doing a spot of shopping and taking home a souvenir made in the Landes. In Seignosse and the surrounding area, there are plenty of markets, all brimming with goods. If you’re a foodie and a lover of local produce, you simply can’t miss out on our specialities here in the Landes: asparagus and kiwi fruit in season, as well as duck and all the different ways to enjoy it, fish from the Port of Capbreton, oysters from Lake Hossegor, and finally the king of desserts: Pastis Landais served with custard or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
