Estagnots Beach

Estagnots Beach is probably the best-known beach in Seignosse. It stretches on from the beaches of Hossegor: the Nord and the “Culs nus”. Very accessible, with a fabulous view of the Pyrenees, it is here in particular that one can really appreciate how close the Landes coast is to the Basque Country, whilst admiring the summit of La Rhune in the background.

Sporty and trendy

ESTAS, as it’s known here, is the beach where all the pro surfers gather, used to competing against one another in the many competitions held there every year. The waves here are more powerful, and the spots are legendary. Bordered by the cycle path, it is a proper little residential neighbourhood in its own right, complete with shops and restaurants.

Estagnots Beach has been awarded the ‘Qualité Tourisme’ label and holds the Blue Flag for its commitment to environmental conservation.

Estagnots Beach is the only beach where kitesurfing is allowed! To the left of the supervised area, you can try it out for the first time or improve your skills for a whole range of different thrills and loads of fun, both in the air and on the water.
