Penon Beach

Penon Beach is the beating heart of Seignosse! The perfect family beach, it’s directly accessible from the shopping centre. It’s the hub for all leisure activities: the skate park, the water park and the playground are right next door. It is from Penon Beach that the magnificent fireworks display is set off every year in August.

To the north of Penon Beach you’ll find Agréou Beach (accessible from the North Car Park), which is more secluded and quieter, but equipped with toilets, a restaurant and a surf school, just like its bigger sister!

Penon Beach is popular all year round. As soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, it’s lovely to stroll along the shore, heading north or south. Enjoy long, sea-air-filled walks at low tide! It’s also from Penon Beach that you can access the Promenade sur la Dune, a fantastic viewpoint which is our ‘place to be’ for watching the sunset. In summer, volleyball tournaments liven up the sunny afternoons.

At the entrance to the beach you’ll find the Penon skatepark. All surfers love practising there, as it perfectly replicates the undulations of the waves. Skateboarding is a must-do on the Landes coast. In Seignosse, you’ll find specialist instructors to help people of all ages learn and improve their skateboarding, as well as a specialist shop where you can buy the skateboard of your dreams!
